Morning Breathwork Practice

Welcome to your morning breathwork practice for 10 Mornings in June.

This is a short practice designed to help you start the day in your own energy before the world gets access to you.

You’ll be guided through breath, gentle activation, intentional holds, and reflection prompts to help you wake up your body, steady your mind, and choose how you want to show up today.

This practice includes brief breath holds on the inhale and exhale. You may experience lightheadedness, dizziness, tingling, warmth, emotional release, or shifts in sensation. This can be normal with breathwork, but you are always in charge of your body.

Please practice seated or lying down, never while driving, standing, or operating anything that requires your attention.

This practice with the holds, may not be appropriate if you are pregnant, have cardiovascular concerns, uncontrolled high or low blood pressure, epilepsy/seizure history, severe asthma or breathing disorders, recent surgery/injury, history of fainting, or any medical/mental health condition that could be affected by breath retention or altered breathing.

If you are unsure whether this practice is right for you, please consult your healthcare provider before participating.

During the practice, you are welcome to:

  • breathe normally at any time

  • skip the breath holds

  • soften the pace

  • open your eyes

  • pause or stop completely

Your body’s signals matter more than following the audio perfectly.

After the practice, take 2–5 minutes to journal immediately.

Ask yourself:

What did I notice in my body?

What insight, image, word, or feeling came through?

How do I want to show up today?

What is one deliberate action I can take from this energy?

Let whatever came through be simple. You do not need to overthink it or make it profound.

The practice is the point.

Press play when you’re ready.
