THE DELIBERATE COMMUNITY
Because there's a whole lot more to alcohol-free living than not drinking.
Whether you're questioning your relationship with alcohol, newly alcohol-free, or years into sobriety, there's something really powerful about being in a room with women who understand what you're navigating.
Because when we change our relationship with alcohol, we often start seeing all the other things that deserve our attention, too.
The habits we've built. The ways we cope with stress. The expectations we put on ourselves. The relationships we have with others, and perhaps most importantly, the relationship we have with ourselves.
And while there's a lot we can learn on our own, there's something entirely different about being able to talk through it, ask questions, hear another woman's experience, and realize we're not the only ones figuring this stuff out.
Welcome to The Deliberate Community. A free space for women navigating alcohol-free living and everything that comes with it.
What You'll Find Here
The Deliberate Conversation
Every Wednesday at 8 PM Eastern | Live on Zoom | Free
This is where we get together and have the conversations that don't always happen in our everyday lives.
We talk about alcohol, absolutely. But we also talk about what's underneath it.
Why we reach for certain things when we're stressed. Why we can know exactly what we need to do and still struggle to follow through. Why we keep finding ourselves in the same situations, repeating the same behaviours, or feeling responsible for everyone else's needs.
We explore the nervous system, stress responses, boundaries, relationships, identity, self-trust, and the patterns that influence how we move through the world.
Some weeks I'll bring a topic or something I've been exploring in my own life or with my clients. Other weeks, the most meaningful conversations come from what someone in the room is navigating.
There's education. There's coaching. There's breathwork. There are questions that might have you looking at something in a way you never have before.
And there are women who understand that this work isn't always neat and tidy.
You don't need to have the right words. You don't need to be at a certain point in your journey. And you certainly don't need to have everything figured out.
You just need to be willing to show up and be part of the conversation.
Maybe you recognize yourself here.
You've stopped drinking, or you're thinking about it, but you're beginning to realize there's more you want to understand about yourself.
Maybe alcohol was how you relaxed, celebrated, connected, switched off, or gave yourself permission to finally stop doing everything for everyone.
Maybe you've already removed alcohol and you're still wrestling with the overthinking, people-pleasing, resentment, overwhelm, or that relentless feeling that you should be doing more.
Maybe life looks pretty damn good from the outside, but you're tired of feeling the way you do on the inside.
Or maybe things are going really well, and you simply want to keep growing alongside women who value the same things you do.
You don't have to wait until things are falling apart to want something different.
What makes these conversations different?
We're not just talking about what we want to change. We're getting curious about why we do what we do in the first place.
Because telling ourselves to set better boundaries, stop overthinking, be more disciplined, or simply not drink doesn't necessarily address what's driving those behaviours.
We look at the patterns. We explore the stress responses. We get curious about the needs underneath our habits and how our experiences have shaped the ways we respond to life.
And we talk about what we can actually do with that understanding.
This isn't about fixing ourselves. It's about learning to understand ourselves well enough to make different choices.
One conversation, one insight, one deliberate choice at a time.
This isn't AA.
And it's not a traditional recovery meeting.
There are no steps to follow, no rigid structure, no expectation to share your story, and absolutely no requirement to identify as an alcoholic.
These are real, facilitated conversations about alcohol, sobriety, and everything that comes with it.
I'm a trauma-informed, certified coach and breathwork facilitator with almost seven years of continuous sobriety. So I bring both professional training and lived experience into the room.
Some weeks we explore the habits, conditioning, and emotional needs beneath our drinking. Other weeks we're navigating relationships, identity, social situations, or the realities of building an alcohol-free life.
There's intention behind how I hold this space, but there's also room for the conversations to unfold naturally.
And you don't need to have stopped drinking to join us.
A few things to know before joining
These are live, interactive conversations, not webinars to watch in the background.
We keep our cameras on because being present, seeing one another, and creating genuine connection are important parts of this space.
You're welcome to listen while you get comfortable, and you're invited to participate when you're ready.
We respect one another's experiences, honour confidentiality, and make room for different perspectives without judgment.
Let's keep the conversation going.
The conversations don't have to end on Wednesday.
Every week, I send an email sharing reflections from my own alcohol-free life, lessons from the work I do, and insights into the habits, patterns, and experiences that shape our relationship with alcohol.
Sometimes it's personal. Sometimes it's educational. Often it's something I've been navigating or reflecting on myself.
My hope is that something I share helps you see your own experience a little differently, ask yourself a better question, or recognize what's possible for you.
If these are the kinds of conversations you want more of, I'd love to have you on the list.
There's a lot to be said for having people in your corner who understand both the challenges and the possibilities of alcohol-free living.

Come join us Wednesday.
You don't need a rock-bottom story. You don't need a sobriety milestone. And you don't need to know exactly what you're looking for.
If you're ready for some real conversations, a little more understanding of yourself, and a community of women who are doing their own work, I'd love to have you.
Every Wednesday at 8 PM Eastern. Free to attend.
Why Community Matters
The things we keep hidden tend to get heavier.
The things we share tend to get lighter.
One of the fastest ways to believe you're broken is to struggle alone.
One of the fastest ways to heal is to discover you're human.
